yeah it's a real shame, but it was inevitable really. i'm
surprised it lasted this long really, but i'm sure it'll
continue to exist in some form or another. communities like
that aren't likely to just disappear.

yeah, terrible news.
very important radio for the electro/nu-italo/italo/disco
scene...

should have been listening more often...

You didn't miss much, they became too prententious, the
radio's playlist was mostly weird shit (not the good weird
shit) and NY style disco, there was a time which they played
cool electro and italo but those days were over, no wonder
no one listened anymore.

times.................not because i wasn't interested, just
rarely occurred to me to do so

They were stalwarts in the best way, you are talking shit.

Here comes the hate train, I used to listen to Astro Unicorn
and even that show went to shit, ethiopian jazz? Synth
wankering? Is that what you call interesting music to
electonic fans? They played a decent track every ~8 hours,
the facts speak for themselves, the filler/goods ratio was
messed up.

It was a radio broadcast not a Sano wankfest. There were
other listeners. (not apparently)

You just gave me my point, it was a broad radio, I'll give
you that but the audience that tuned in wasn't in sync with
what they played most of time. The mixes people post there
are mostly italo and electro not that pretentious cock they
played like 70's italian cop show scores and wah-wah disco.

I enjoyed it anyway. There were some tough Italo disco
things being played. I don't find it hard to skip the shit.

The radio lives on here now http://www.robotdj.net/ they
also have a new forum but I forgot to register and now I
can't remember the address but it's much a clone of the old
cbs.nu
