New track. Kind of a fresh start for me. A bit of a different style than my previous beat-fuckery style. I did this with a bit of motivation for a buddy of mine. He will soon be laying an MC track over top of it. Anyways, let me know what you think!
It's track 5 on page.

maybe it'd work better with an mc, otherwise the melodic development isn't very interesting and it adheres to a sound that has already been refined by others. personally, i liked some sounds but there were some that were a little irritating, there is a sense of too much contrast between elements, for example in the cymbal ride (or one of them, maybe there were a couple).
you went to the trouble of making sounds from scratch, but the repeating samples (of your own sounds) without any tweaking make the track feel static. what's missing is a sense of tension, dynamics, movement.
i'm sorry i can't be more positive at the moment. keep working, that's the only way to better tracks.

plaid-that is an excellent critique. Don't worry about it... that's the kind of review I'm looking for, it does only help me get better. And I know what your talking about with the words "movement and dynamics". The problem with my production techniques is their very loop based and theres no real sense of overall rhythm to a lot of my tracks, it's just cut n paste style. Thanks again for the advice and listen! More please

i agree with plaid, but continue making tunes and try to incorporate, every track adds to your experience so no track is a waste of time.

i like something in your musik , but i agree With Cx , this is not a waste of time , but my questions is : have you try to incorporate some melodies n your track ? more melodies and emotions will make us love it more !
