I prefer if he sticks to working solo but if he had to
callaborate who would you recommend ? and you can't
recommend yourself):

i think something with FSOL or Brian Eno would be cool

PAT METHENY!!! PAT METHENY AND APHEX TWIN!!! My favotire
two artists together would make some kick ass work, I'm sure
of it.

yeah, Brian Eno would be cool... Radiohead would be also,
but he dislikes them, so it'll probably not happen... Get
pink floyd back together and then stick em with RDJ... tha
would be cool...

Luke Vibert, Outkast, Wu-tang Clan, Boards of Canada, Bjork

aphex/boc would be so boring; aphex/outkast wouldn't work at
all; aphex/luke doesn't sound very interesting at first but
it'd probably be pretty good (tho richard really eclipses
luke in talent); aphex/bjork i practically pray for
everyday..

Aphex/Outkast might work, they use alot of weird electronic
backgrounds in alot of their less mainstream stuff, but it
would be a long shot

oh i love outkast and i own all their stuff.. don't get me
wrong, i'm a fan of both artists and think they do
revolutionary things, but i don't think it'd mesh well. i
don't think richard could do a backing track for a hip-hop
outfit - MAYBE wu-tang, but not outkast cos andre's voice is
too distinctive. and that's just in terms of matching with
the vocals. what's more is i don't think richard would be
able to resist embellishing his track (to make it evolve
throughout the song); i think he'd feel like a prisoner
having to keep it repetitive enough for emcees to rhyme
over.

yeah, it probably wouldn't work well, but it would be cool
if it did. It would be awsome if Rza and RDJ made a track
togethere.

I guess as popular as Bjork is I would love to hear a
collaboration between them. Otherwise a hip hop producer.
Like, could Buck 65 and aphex mix? That would some other
shit.

Squarepusher. Theoretically this should actually happen
soon. BoC would be interesting also, but I can't imagine
them working together to produce anything intelligable, if
they did work together, they would make something quite
unlistenable, at least that's the way I foresee it.
Had I never heard Mike & Rich (which is fairly crappy IMO) I
would have loved to hear him do something with µ-ziq, but I
couldn't have imagined those two could work together to
produce something worse than each of their individual work.

I guess those ones are a little obvious though.

Frankly, I'd like to see him do something with Abspritzen.
Take him back to his sandpaper and blender days. If he could
take Abspritzen's spine tingling noises and throw in some
rushes I think it would be off the hook.

mike & rich is awesome!! i love that album. as for aphex
working with squarepusher..... uhh, We Are Normal People:
"Freeman, Hardy & Willis Acid" - been there done that we got
guns we got straps! i think the MEN records stuff will have
some collaborative material eventually (soon?) as richard
said it's a label for him and tom.

afx and bjork would make a good combo!

i would also like to see a collab between rdj and coil, but
where rjd ONLY makes the samples, send them to coil, and
they sequence/fuck them up, BUT they can only his rdj's
samples...
