I am very surprised that I haven't seen a thread about them
performing again or about anyone going to see them. I went
yesterday and it was amazing. I don't think I could give a
decent account of the evening. They played at a
mindfuckingly loud volume and because of the nature of the
music it was like I had taken a concoction of drugs. Lots of
strobes and some really nice visuals. The real killer was
the twenty minute plus version of you made me realise.
Mainly because halfway through the track they started making
a noise which was a kin to a jet plane taking off and that's
putting it mildly, I went for a piss during this part of the
show and the mirrors in the toilets were looking like they
were about to fall off the wall. It's a good job they were
handing out ear plugs when entering.

I saw loads of people filming stuff but this was the only
video i could find on yesterday. 30 seconds of soon

In conclusion the loudest show I have ever seen and
certainly one of the best.

Anyway sorry about the ramble, I felt like I needed to do
it.

: )

Did you wear earplugs and did you go last night?

According to my friend Rob's Facebook status, his ears are
still ringing too.

Not surprising at all. It was the loudest thing I have ever
heard. I am glad I bought some heavy duty earplugs with me.

i went to the roundhouse on monday (23rd) and yes it was
fucking loud. wore ear plugs for the first 3 songs but then
took them out - they weren't very good ear plugs.

i do wish the levels weren't so ridiculously biased towards
the guitars, was just a tad silly.

in all ridiculousness though, you did go to see a gig
for a shoegazing band

oh yes, they must've had the 'shoegazer' setting selected on
the mixing desk.
