Found out the bad news this morning that the Legendary
special effects artist Stan Winston tragically passed away
in his Malibu home on Sunday, after struggling for 7 years
with myeloma.

It truelly is a great loss.
Personally, i'm hugely into films and visual arts, and his
work was amongst the greatest. The industry has lost a
genius and i just wanna say RIP Stan, you'll be missed.

Just a handful of movies he worked on that had an impact on
my life are:

The Terminator, Terminator 2 Judgement Day
Aliens
Predator, Predator 2
Edward Scissorhands
Interview with the Vampire
Small Soldiers
The Sixth Sense
AI
The Time Machine
DOOM
War of the Worlds
World Trade Center

He was due to work on the new Terminator film due for 2009
but i guess it'll just be his team now :(
