so exciting, so invigorative, so wanting, so passe?

where are we now? remixes are dead, or at least stale. they
bear no resembelance to the original, we need PWL back to
"extend" a song, this fruition, this absolution, this time
of your open mindedness towards music, us 30somethings have
such a priveledged upbringing, will it never be repeated?

if ever other aspect of music as it seems goes in a circular
fashion do we and indeed are we and are we right to crave
and also look forward to the return of the 'extended'
remix?

Agreed. 12" remixes used to be amazing, but now they're so
monotonous and shite. I guess it's down to the whole club
culture and DJs wanting an easy mix (hmm, it fades in with a
beat, and fades out with a beat).
