Quaristice: Extended Cuts

The PlclCpC ccc

90101-61-01-51-6-51-19

Chenc9-1Dub-x

Perlence Range 7 Subrange 3 Losid 2

Perlence Range 7 Subrange 3 Losid 2 Subrange 6-36

Big thanks to Coax for the webspace/hosting/whatever!
Cheers!

Mods: If this is too copyright infringing, feel free to
totally delete this post. IMO I've done enough work to these
for it not to be just posting pure Autechre. Thanks!

oh and btw you might have to wait a while for Perlence Range
7 Subrange 3 Losid 2 Subrange 6-36 cos it's half way through
upping.

quick question, what did you use on the PLC extended? not
the original album version, just the extended VERsions one
+the quadrange one correct?

it's another release, but this time Butch Vig has been let
loose on the unedited jams to come up with these versions

butters my muffin

the 90190192091234 was a crap choice in my opinion. probably
easy to mix, but such shitty tracks.

the only ones i enjoyed were
1. Autechre - 9010171-121 (4:32)
2. Autechre - 90101-5l-l (3:11)

Plc mix is good. I'm happy to say I can delete the rest and
just listen to this. It's really all I need now.

I'm a huge fan of the perlence tracks so I hope you did
justice to them. dowwwwwwwwwwwwwwnloaddddddddddddddddding

its all the versions, made into one. so you dont have to
sift through. just listen to these versions. but im going to
do some more work on chenc9, add in that untilted soundboard
bit. will post later.

gwely thats exactly what i was going to attempt with chenc 9
(the untilted tour bits applied) how were you planning on
doing it? i didnt even try because they seem to be pretty
different tempos, and the untilted 2005 is very swingy
timing compared to the very straight timing of chenc9. id
like to hear a mash at matching speeds

why would one "sift through" though?
does some of it suck total ass?

offline jackeroffer from Aruba on 2008-05-30 17:07 [#02211784]
Points: 1038 Status: Lurker

evolume i cant speak for gwely but i think for example all
the 90109238387248247 tracks, out of them only 3 are good
enough for stand alone, the rest are either too similar to
eachother or like mashups of different ones. i think its
probably best to listen to them as seperate tracks for each
one sounds like a whole new track (unlike perlence)

offline jackeroffer from Aruba on 2008-05-30 17:15 [#02211788]

9010171-121 is imo the shining track on Quad range, mostly
because it sounds like a brand new track ala Blyz castl

Hey, thanks guys!

Perlence Range 7 Subrange 3 Losid 2 Subrange 6-36 fully
uploaded last night and is definitely safe for you to
download now.

Cygnus: I've just cut most of the versions of some of Ae's
jams/tracks together to make some really long versions of
the tracks above. This isn't a new release, just some
editing I did.

Perlence Range 7 Subrange 3 Losid 2 is good.
perhaps my favourite version of the track.
i think 90101-61-01-51-6-51-19 is alright too, but i'd have
to give it another listen or so. the others are alright but
i prefer the originals :)

also, everyone who was expecting Subrange 6-36 to be a live
set (including myself) got owned. lolols.

I wonder if its part of the point though. With many of the
mixes being minimal and one outright called a dub, and the
amount of different versions, what if they are trying to
start a viral mutation thing?

Imagine, not only are people posting their mixes of the
original material, but then second generation mixes start
appearing using bits of other people's mixes.. 3rd gen,
4th..... The internet could be flooded with Quaristice.
