Holy shit this is lush! I was gonna comment on each track
but they're all so brilliant.

Author: Haha, it has the flatbeat bass! The vocals kind of
muddle away in their own reverb and echo. It's a very messy
track, and I don't really feel anything either way; it's
neither good nor bad.

David: It starts off with some of the kinds of sounds I
love, but it doesn't do much more. It's got some good
details and sounds that are reworked in a good way, but
ultimately, it's the same as the first.

Squid: This actually sounds like a squid right from the
start! I can imagine that if we ever met a race of music
squids, this is the music they'd make.. none of that Disney
"oh, it's a xylophone, but since they're fish, it's made
from shells lol." It's nice, but could do with more
variation. Towards the middle of it, there's a part that
reminds me of a Mako-Reactor in Final Fantasy VII.

All three songs were good, although i kept feeling like
"david" was building up some momentum that never really paid
off-- after a few minutes it just feels like that song
should take off like a big ass bird. Squid was def my
favorite of the lot... sweet drums.+

thanks guys, appreciate the remarks...
glad to hear you like squid, i must admit, it is very very
inspired by autechre "drowning in a sea' off splitrmx12...
still working on that one actually, some of the synth's are
a bit below par, especially the bass tone (imo)

as far as david goes, agree on the building but then does'nt
do much in the way of getting massively epic... will keep
working :)

cheers

Hmmm, I found that author and david just lacked a little
something. They seemed to float over my head a bit. I am
enjoying squid however. Good work.
