"Buyers, you can no longer receive negative or neutral
Feedback from sellers.
You should leave honest and accurate Feedback without the
fear of receiving negative or neutral ratings."

well... that doesn't really fix the problem, it just creates
a new problem. Now there's no way to hold buyers accountable
when they fuck up. Ebay's people certainly aren't going to
do it.

Ebay sucks.

They're doing everything they can force out small time
sellers. If you own an eBay shop you get reductions, if you
sell consistently you will earn better feedback ratings,
whereas if you sell very little and earn a few negs then
will suspend or ban you.

Everything is gearing towards eBay being a place to buy
goods like you would in a shopping mall, thus heightening
their perceived reputation for reliability and
accountability.

Unfortunately, what they're not accounting for is that the
principles that attracted people to eBay in the first place
have been abolished, their insufferable greed has alienated
all users from top to bottom and now the door is open for
someone else (possibly eBid) to both replace and overtake
them.

I often use Amazon.com to buy second-hand stuff... there are
some right good bargains to be had: I don't think I've even
used eBay in a year.

My mother is an online reseller of home decor and just
pulled out of ebay recently for all the bs they have been

It's good because some sellers are tools who don't give you
payment details and try to give negative feedback 'cause you
didn't pay.

eBay sucks - I had a run-in once and tried to get it sorted
out by contacting them multiple times to absolutely no
avail.
