Let's say you have an album, the track titles are all
"Track 01.mp3" etc.. And untitled.

How do you make each track title so that it's basically:

%album% %filename%

ie - "Christmas Carols Collection Track 27"

I like christmas carols

at the moment i have to use id3-tagit for this purpose AND I
DON'T LIKE HAVING TO DO THAT

I usually tag mp3s in itunes.

:/ don't want to go through the annoyance of opening up
another program though, especially since foobar's tagging

when you install foobar there's an option to install the
masstagger component which does all that stuff real nice
like

Highlight all of dem bitches
right click
Properties
rightclick on the Track Title field
Choose "Format from other fields" from the context menu
Put: "Christmas Carols Collection Track %tracknumber%" in
the box (without the quotation-marks silly).
You can see the preview below
OK, OK, you're done

If the tracknumber field is empty you can have it filled in
automatically by choosing "Auto Track Number" from the
aforementioned context menu
