A guitar is what I used for the main pad, just sliced and sequenced. The other instrument (bell) that comes in at 0:55 is the DX10 synth in FL. The drums were some that I recorded off my drumset and sliced and fucked around with. Voice sample, from the internet. |

Very nice. I love the melody and the vocal sample. I would probably lose the flit-flit-flit-flit percussion that really stands out in the beginning-- but then I've never really been a fan of "minimal" drum arrangements (Ryoji Ikeda can eat a dick ;p) so I'm probably not the guy to see about that. As far as what style it would be... hard to say-- I think it would make a good intro or outro to an album though, easily. |

you probably get sick of it. ill tell you man your shit sounds the nicest when you get that guitar going. come down and acoustic track are hitting me up. you get that four tet blend going it with your electronic stuff it will sound real nice. |

The click sound "flit flit flit" is from when I record a few guitar plucks and chopped down a single note, then just made patterns with it in the piano roll. I could get rid of it, but it just wouldn't sound the same. |

I know what you mean there, once you've laid in some kind of percussion taking it out is sort of like ripping out the spine of the song. It dosent even really make that much of a difference. I listened to the track 4 times now, it's good either way. The vocal sample has a really nice feel to it. |

I like this swift! The beat is nicely produced. But more than that i like the repetative tune thing at the beginning! Tell me more about this collab thing (in the yo ampi max thread). Describe how we do it. What kind of tunes will we make. How many (i think we should do an ep of maybe 5 tracks, i also think a lot of things cos i am still finishing off da drink wooooooooooooooooooooooooo, sorry).
