after hours of bloodshed and trawling through 10 years of obsolete technology, i have managed to assemble an OS disk for the asr-10 that was laying in my house. its time to get back down to business. do i want a medal? perhaps. cointreau and cranberry juice will do for the moment.

Way back when I first wanted to start making music I looked at that machine a lot. I ended up getting an ASRX later on. I wish it had grid edit, but thats moot now the buttons don't work so no local sequencing.
If I saw an ASR10 on consignment somewhere Id be tempted to pick it up. A lot of reviewers prefer the 10 to the X for general sampling since the X is really more of a groove box and considered inferior to the MPCs in that respect.
