yeah, so since february i've been working 7 days a week doing two jobs so i can pay off my loans and be debt free.
now i'm being made redundant again (2nd time by the same company in just under 2 years).
so, the few pieces of gear i have must be sold, and i'd rather not have to get to the depths of taking them to Cash Generator :(
i have:
Akai S6000 sampler with 256MB RAM, 36GB SCSI internal hard disk, 16 outputs, 32 note polyphony.
Yamaha AW4416 Digital Mixer / Hard Disk Recorder workstation
with a 60GB internal hard drive, capable of 16 tracks of audio. has input expansion card so has 16 physical inputs. full digital mixer with motorised faders, scene memory, automation, full MIDI implemention.
i also have a couple of Atari related hardware pieces.
if anyone would like to provide a good home to these, let me know.
:(

The S6000 has 128 note capabilities not 32. My S5000 has 64 note poly. The S6000 comes with the VOX64 card as standard, so it does 64+64=128 note poly.
I'd recommend the S6000. Like I said, I've got a 5000 and it's great, but the removable screen is such a great thing, the S6000 is great.
Shame it doesn't have the USB card though. Mine's got that and it's great to be able to drag and drop from the PC.

i paid £500 for the S6000 in February, and it's had very little use since i've had it due to not having a sequencer (i sampled the amen into it and a sample of my brother, that's it). i don't smoke either, so it's not gunked up with shit. i would accept £300 - £400 for it
as for the AW4416, i wouldn't accept anything less than £500 with the upgrades it's had. it also comes with a damn good flight case. i'm heading up to Widnes in June for the MBV gig, so if you do know someone who's interested, i could get the stuff to Widnes and maybe we could sort out a pick up?

you are correct good sir, thanks for rectifying my stupidity :)
although this S6000 has had it's additional voice card removed :( so it just has 64note poly. yeah, i was planning on getting the USB card at some point, but due to circumstances that's obviously not happening
