here's the first atlas sound thread, let it slowly drift down the board and out into space. the first album was released a couple of days ago on 4AD with a bonus disc; the US release was earlier this year on kranky. if you like sweet and sad homemade electronically melted pop music that drains out of rock music when it dies and slowly parades around your mind, maybe you'll like it. try "recent bedroom" on for size. like playing with a loose tooth for a better fit. atlas sound is brad cox, who's the singer for deerhunter. i like deerhunter, but i like atlas sound more. you can stream a streamy stream here, if you've got the guts: oh and |
