It is a weird strain of life (a replicator). Now, its relatively harmelss, though annoying, and its life cycle depends on manipulating the human desire for sex (another replicating mess). But whatever perverted form of evolution that now exists will make this replicating text more and more fit. Right now, I'm not going to replicate it. I can see what it is trying to do. Its trying to direct its replication using human reward (though currently a complete lie of a reward). Future strains will use human pain as well. For example, imagine a human organization that captures you and forces you to copy and paste this text 100 times, lest you be tortured or killed. Perhaps if you do successfully do it 100 times, or perhaps 1000, you get a blow job. This would greatly increase the text's success of replicating. It will take awhile for it to become this co-evolved with humanity but just give it time. By then it probably won't be mere text anymore. |
