Audacity crashes when ever i type

Everytime i am typing a title for my tracks when i goto
save them, or export them, whenever i start typing, let's
say i will type an "r", it will begin to record, and other
letters make it do differen things. i d/led the latest
release, is it a mac setting?

sounds like it is time for peak. they make an le edition
that isn't too salty i am thinking about getting it.

well certainly doesn't do that on my mac.

as a temporary work around you could copy and paste the
title from somewhere else or find some way to disable the
hotkeys.
