It a horrible place. Last time i went back there i stepped off the train and a women was crying hysterically into her hands, alone on a bench. A man walked up to me and asked if i'd ever been to belmarsh prison then punched my friend (a girl!) in the nose. And then we walked away from the train station and saw a woman pissing in to a roadside drain. |

i've been told it's not a place where one can make a decent living anymore, but i never lived there so i dunno. i remember the music, the pusher with the russian gals at piccadilly circus, the sidewalk, the houses and the students dress. smoking from a bucket at the hostel, throwing things out of the window, the only lysergic experience of my life, my friend asking for a bathroom in the tube and answered that he could have shit in his pants, the guys in the pub with the england national t-shirt, looking into each other eyes with a punky blonde gal while waiting to enter the fabric to see goldie, everybody rolling golden virginia, an spanish gal putting her hands in my pants while dancing, her italian bf tooking her away.. =) |
