Sure, It will me make look like a dumbass that i can not take part in a discussion about politics. Why should I care or have an opinion about stuff i can not change and I'm not intrested in anyway (for example the boring israel - palaestine conflict, globalisation) I just don't care |

I don't see a contardiction there? This thread isn't about politics, its about boredom, and the boredom of politics. And the question, why people care about politics in the first place, or a subject that is in most cases, so far and removed from their daily lifes? |

why you should care about politics: because you're part of society. and that in one way or another, just by being part of it implies you influence it - in one way or another. either by doing nothing, or by actively participating in it. that's why. |
