hey, dingle berry - you use a mac, eh?
hardly anyone on this message board uses them. i, on the
other hand, do use a mac (not very well though).
what sequencers work best for you, i'd really like to know,
'cos the one i'm stuck with is beyond pants.

i don't use a mac, the compatiblity is wrong, not many
programms, too expensive, but effective system, better for
sequencing and VST, but i can't work with one mouseclick :)

Casio boards......sucks, no? home consumer sound with flush
tunes, no ? what kind of music d'you make ?

Organ Grinder from from er........... wherever. on 2001-06-14 14:50 [#00009645]

i can't afford good keyboards. The CT was bought for me for
X-Mas for 80 bucks and my CT was a donation. But the CT has
a great ambient sound to it.
But you're right, Casios DO suck. But i could really care
less, because i scavenge for everything.

sounds....
d'you know some good sources on the net ?

dingle berry from on a small plastic chair breathing fire on 2001-06-14 15:29 [#00009651]

rubbish john on 2001-06-14 16:26 [#00009666]

dingle berry - sequencers???
what do use with your mac??

Organ Grinder from my own little fantasy world on 2001-06-14 17:33 [#00009669]

when i was still doing comp music, all i used was microsoft
sound recorder. I recorded individual melody notes and drum
effects. it's possible, all you need is a decent knowledge
of math.

Organ Grinder from my own little fantasy world on 2001-06-14 17:33 [#00009670]

i still write some music on comp -- but it's mostly some
floating ambient noise tracks for my live shows.

dingle berry from on a small plastic chair breathing fire on 2001-06-14 19:59 [#00009693]

rubbish john i can use cubase on either the mac or my pc at
work thats what i use as my (sequencer) controller then i
use my sequencers as sound modules e.g. one is a drum
sequencer the other is a tone sequencer and the other one is
both. coz im doing a music course ive allso got a lot of
synths, sound modules and stuff that i can borrow.
