I heard today on the news how a paramedic was criticised for attending a man stabbed in a house, because the knife-wielding assailant was still in the house - the paramedic was told to wait for the police. The man died of his wounds. I was doing a lot of driving today so I heard a few phone-in shows on Radio 5 and I couldn't believe the criticism the poor paramedic and the ambulance service received. One caller compared her to the Nazis because she was "just following orders", as if she should put her life in danger. I don't usually get mad but I couldn't believe the cretinous cunts phoning up saying they were outraged because the paramedics put their lives first - these Daily Mail reading bastards choking over their tea and toast in the morning made my blood boil. As if these paramedics, who are out saving lives every fucking day, should go into a violent situation where an armed lunatic is threatening more violence. I'd like to see how these pukes view the ambulance service if they drop down of a heart attack or have an accident and their bacon is saved by these valiant people who they are so outraged with. I've known several paramedics and from what they tell me, it is a shit job. They spend a lot of time helping people who don't need it while working horrible hours for shit wages. And that's without the chance of being stabbed in the line of work. I would wager though, that the radio station you were listening to was allowing those cretins on the air just to get the response that you had to the show. Maybe you'd get so mad you would stab somebody and then they would have more material for tomorrow's phone-in show. |

What else could you ask of someone. Was the paramedic supposed to sneak in, quietly bandage the wounded man and pull him out through the bathroom window? It wasn't like he didn't care!!! NAZI!? That dosn't even make any sense. |
