mmppjnkavar (vocal guide 1) [4.0mb]
feedback would be lovely!!
probably not as soul as i would like, but comes off with
this glitchy portishead vibe...

...been collaborating with youka, this soul singer from
brisbane, really excited about this new project :) hopefully
you'll like it

james.

Nice even though the lyrics suffer from the ubiquitous
lyrical problem of nonsense.

It must be hard living in a forest of metaphors. Everything
is so transparent that not even being able to see through
all the trees reveals anything but more transparent trees.

Jenka7: With that name, I was expecting something more in
the style of ethnic music from Western Europe haha. It's
nice, though.

i like the second track it almost sounds like MoM meets air
or something

but yea if you want more soul you should saturate yourself w
70s music, roberta flack, marvin gaye, and i might get
flamed for this but alicia keys

nice work! i'm not quite feeling the singer as much as your
production, but it all works well in the end. nice
off-beats, too ;)
