Cover half in butter, or margarine, other half in maple syrup, or, for a real increase, try blueberries.

Waffles ain't worth scrabbling to get a good ratio - if you think a ban is imminent, leech as much as you can before you go.

make sure your udp ports are open, never stop your torrents from seeding even if they get above 1.0 ratio and keep your compy online as long as possible. perseverance is key - the more you download, the more you will be uploading.
also, browsing the newly uploaded torrents and nabbing something with 1 seeder and a few (3-9) leechers can do the trick if you time itright.
i dunno about waffles, but on what it is very much worth it to get a high ratio as once you become a power user you get access to the top 10, which, for me, at this point, is my only source of finding out about good new music.

very nice tips
but another option is to get a seedbox, thats basically a high bandwidth server that seeds up to many mb/s, i have one and i only need to seed one torrent four a couple hours to get 20 gb added.

And it's people with Seed boxes (and the damn Swedes) who mean the normal torrenting public are finding it harder and harder to seed.

I've noticed that Waffles and What have so many torrents with no leechers at all - you can DL a torrent and be waiting months for someone else to DL it and hope that you manage to UL a little before some other seed with their fat pipe takes all the bandwidth.

yeah, im against overseeding with high bandwidth
on waffles now i registered on the first day it opened and i only hacve 37 gigs uploaded..
i only seed every couple months to be able to dl what i can, same on other trackers.
those idiots who seed 500 gb per day only ruin it for everyone else, there should be rules against overseeding or some system for rewarding seed time.

a few months ago on what there was a discussion about this exact topic and people proposed extra rewards for logged seed time as well as total data uploaded.
unfortunately theyve been working so hard on getting gazelle running that most concepts like the above have been put on the back burner.

...and once invited and once your ration is decent, then w h a t? I mean, almost nothing is interesting for anyone on what.cd so there is not much points in either uploading or seeding...? *gets of the intarwebs*
