my other spam track pandy has like no bass here with
beyerdynamic dt770 pro headphones.
at home i heard a low rumble and more ambience, on these
headphones i have to eq 56-900hz to even hear something
similar..
what headphones have good bass response like this, and also
what headphones sound more immediate and not weak?

these i have now compared to my tapco s5 monitor speakers,
sound like shit, and not nearly as immersive.

any ideas for good bass on headphones?

but how do you verify the quality of the sounds then

and how do you become immersed in the track you're making

i need these..

Head-Fi is a good resource, you probably already know
that.

"doesn't matter about the headphones as long as you eq it
later on good monitors"

that's my opinion, i know nothing about this stuff........

the mixes turn out fine, the problem is they sound more
distant, less vibrant, and less big.. i know it seems
obvious but i live in a collective and cant have speakers of
any kind so im looking for the absolute best headphones,
especially bassy ones, or techniques to get my apparently
"bass monster" dt770 pro's to indeed sound like bass
monsters

i went with sennheiser hd-25s although i've tried the
beyerdynamic ones you mention and i didn't think there was
much between them in the low end, took a stack of loefah and
ryoji ikeda and stuff to the shop to test :)

i think having a really good set of phones can make a
difference to yer music but it's obviously best to listen on
a few shitty systems as well

hang on, i think i've misunderstood, you think the bass
sounds weedy on the beyerdynamics? maybe because they're not
colouring the mix like most cheapo ones, fuck "bass boost"

sennheiser's hd are ok, but i dont like the cable, its a 1/8
inch jack when it breaks you have to order the right one
which costs allot of money. the cable is very long and get
under my chair's wheels and fucks with it. now i can hear
crackles and shit. i have the HD 270, don't reccomend it.
