Not impressed. Couldn't hear any cool noises. I think it was because there was too much bass. IT was like UMCE UMCE UMCE UMCE UMCE UMCE I was waiting for the Rhianna accapella to kick in.
Sorry AE !

Their sound setup sounds (see what I did there?) as though it's been shit throughout the tour - when I saw them you couldn't hear any of the "nice tinkly bits" from where I was stood. I've heard the same from others - even my dad (who hates Ae) commented on the loss of the highs. I still enjoyed it and thought it was great, but I was craving for the mids and highs. I went totally ape when they broke it down to just that tuned snare drum. Whoever suggested Autechre should let everyone should bring headphones and plug them into a massive patchbay was pretty correct there.

Huh, I don't feel so bad about missing it, then. On Sunday I had this nagging feeling that I ought to get down and see them. I ignored that feeling. Win!
I saw the Tenori-On launch on Friday just down the street from Club Soda at SAT though. Sutekh and Pole for free, that was pretty alright.
