website with sample tracks > 45 tribute
i mean, there's another xlt topic about this
already, but i really thought more people would at least be
slightly interested!

It matters that without his presence on this planet you
would have either a very different elektron or no elektron
at all. That means that the last 2 Autechre albums, last 2
Air albums, last Knife album, etc. etc. would all be very
different. The Elektron gear is the best out there.

Actually the AEVSVS sample track sounds fucking sick...So
dark and lovely.

That wasn't really meant to be a follow up to cunty, I
forget what it was I decided was too good a response to
waste on him.

right now besides the Tuss and Chenc9 off Quaristice!

Does this track sound more Ae or more VS? It's very good by
the way, mind-blowing match up.

The last two Air albums!? I was just listening to their
latest, didn't think it had any elektron business going on.

I don't really like the one Ae did alone for this
compilation, it's pretty damn piddly and meandering and meh.
But the VSnares one with them is quite enjoyable. Never
thought they'd do anything together, yay.

It does, there's loads of little MD clicks and hits, as well
as a LOAD of Monomachine.

it sounds to me like vsnares did all the sequencing, AE
provided the source material. its hard for me to imagine a
super duper equal collaboration, it was probably easier for
them to do kind of a remix type deal

That's probably what they did. Seeing as Aaron uses Renoise,
and autechre uses ...err science ?
