I've actually thought about making a thread like this. The only difference is that I think google has the best educational/documentary videos. Now, I'm not sure if they are legally put up on google. For instance, the other day I saw a great documentary made by BBC on the history of the atom. I'm not sure if BBC would approve of this. Anyways, I recommend it, and here it is.
