he's absolutely great. he's probably not so popular because
of he's just very abstract and hard to listen to.

i saw him in stettin last year on the "musica genera". he
seemed a very cool guy but absolutely serious about his
music. he wa quite angry when suddenly a speaker died what
luckily was just a loose cable.

his set was absolutely fantastic, consisting of things that
i know and some unknown stuff. he was playing very very loud
so his music was really blowing.

a pity the venue wasn't really "dance-friendly" and we had
to sit all the time.

sounds good..he was supposed to play in a theatre first but
now he's playing in a dance club..maybe that is a good thing
then!

presenting some new project for the first time it seems..im
going to ask him about that

i guess he picked up the 'playing it loud' part from pan
sonic guys : )

i think that loudness was absolutely needed - all his
complex structure sounded suddenly so damn powerful that
when i listened to the tracks at home again, they just
didn't sound at all. it's really an interesting experience
to see him live.

i missed some at the start, but awesome interview again!
some very interesting discussions. i've only really heard a
few of his releases which are probably a few years old now,
i didn't think that much of what i'd heard of strings - but
this super suprematism thing i'd really like to hear more
of, it would be nice if he released it as a FLAC download on
boomkat or whatever! but i dont suppose that will happen
with this one.

maybe i'll turn it into mp3 and post it here if anyone else
will be interested in it.

btw, you can hear coh plays cosey in about 5 minutes from
now.

nice interview, Coh is awesome one of the few electronic
musicians truely pushing the envelope. His label Wavetrap is
amazing too, especially the release by PXP on it.

some of that soisong material on their myspace is
outstanding, particularly the 3rd track.

tolstoyed if you get around to posting a rip that would be
cool. i was at work and couldn't really listen.

I love coh and would love to hear the interview. The first
artist I put on my "media server" (a grand name for just
another computer, without a monitor, sat in the spare room
:) which feeds my squeezeboxes. Sitting on the stairs with
the pair of them synchronised listening to coh was a novel
experience!

And I've just ordered the new album.

tolstoyed, you like PXP? for those not in the know its a
side project by one of the guys in farmers manal. Their
first cd was pretty interesting, the guy calls it 'extreme
computer music'
