Ah, yes, I missed that! Apparantly Link holds his shield as protection towards the Death Mountain in "A link to the Past". It had something to do with his left handedness. I read somewhere that it was due to sprite mirroring, but I've always found the idea of Link being superstitious, to be charming. |
