I guess I have to go buy windows 2000? I put in the faggy 'ibm thinkpad t23 quick restore disc' and the stupid fag was all like beeep beep, this is too faggy I don't want to compute this because fag you don't fag have norton ghost or some faggy shit."'''" yes you do insert an OS cd, partition and install. if it does the same thing when you try booting with the CD inserted, then go into the BIOS and change the preference of boot devices |

i dont remember if 2000 requires a boot disk - it may, as it was the professional counterpart of 98, which needed one. but why are you still with 2000? find yourself a *cough* affordable copy of xp pro online and you'll be fuckin grayvee. |

But isln't windrows 2000 more secure cuz like the viruses are target at the most popular os's n shit yo. I have secret plans to murder the world on this laptop so I gotsto keep it secure yo. But how the fuck do I boot it when this thing doesn't have a boot disk drive type thing, all it has is some sorta semi smallish hole for god knows what, oh fuck, don't tell me now I have to buy some external usb boot drive or sum shit holy titty juice. Only time will tell. |

windows2000 sucketh. so does windowsXP, but less so. XP is more secure than 2000. but that isn't saying much. if you really want security, go Linux. |

Going linux = maybe 5 straight days of figuring out which version to get and making it work plus like 10 straight days of growing accustomed to it + risk of having it not work at all since I'm just a hair above being computer illiterate or having it not support certain applications etc. |
