Anyone ever used this mixer, or any other Mackie mixer,
please give me your verdict. I'd like a new one, instead of
the behringer one. It's a nice mixer, but after using it for
quite a while, i realize a lot of things about this eurodesk
bug and annoy me.

So, Mackie talk guys, innit.

mackie is shite. their firewire interfaces are not working
properly for some reason. im myself in process of replacing
satellite interface because, for some fucking reason, it
doesnt wan to work 9believe me i spend days tryin to solve
this shit) and if you look up mackie support forums, type
the no of that mixer + firewire and youl see what im talking
about.
whats worse, guys at mackie dont even bother to release
patches, fixes or firmware.
so be wary of firewire issues.

well, not planning to use firewire, don't need that. But
what's your opinion on the quality of the mixers? Pots and
sliders smooth? Background noise control? etc

I used an old Mackie in a band I played in several years
ago. I remember having good experiences with it and Mackie
being a respected brand.
