btw, FL Synthmaker looks like a mixture of Synthmaker and
Fruity Loops. I bet they fused companies.

booftah wooftah. good memories of writing in this software.
used fl3 for a couple years. it's pretty much where I
started.

I consider the fruityloopz more of a wicked heavy instrument
as opposed to my entire work environment all in one. a big
part of making music for me is building / designing an
environment out of many pieces. from the hardware aspect to
software with in it. fruity is and always has been great to
have along side the many other instruments I play. ' and fun
to implement.

juss my two centz on the thing. ;)

I downloaded the demo only to uninstall it after a short
play with it, I guess I'm too dumb to figure out how to make
the CH choke/cut OH or other sample in the Step-Sequencer,
how are you able to program beats that way in FL? I guess
most people must use a sampler VST and piano roll the drum
hits instead.

you can let a sample cut itself in the channel setting, in
the misc tab. you get the channel settings by clicking on
the channel

i don't know if that answers your question because i didn't
understand it really

Yes you can make it cut itself but what I wanted it to do
was to have the ch choke the oh like this:
http://www.vulomedia.com/viewer.php?id=28780untitled.jpg

This way it works like a drum machine.

what i do for that is use the piano roll and turn on the
arpeggiator, just click the ^ and leave the settings
it's a workaround and maybe there's an actual thing for it..

itself' cut by should be the number of the ch
