Born out of a secret shindig held at the top of an industrial tower block overlooking east London, Digital City parties weld contemporary electronic beats and backroom party vibes with quality visuals and the freshest short films and animations. Top-brass techno legend, Luke Slater headlines, while Ninja Tune’s chillout veteran Mixmaster Morris, and ICA Music Curator and Resonance FM DJ Nick Luscombe provide support. Other live highlights come in the form of harp-driven electronica from The Shadow Orchestra fresh from supporting DJ Krush, and lushed-up electro from Ed Chamberlain still on recovery post Bloc Weekender. Meanwhile bumping reggae and grinding rocksteady comes from Trojan selector Count Skylarkin’ back2back with Hard-Fi’s resident dancehall remixer Wrongtom.
