..depends on how good your music is I guess... I used to like listening to my own stuff when off my face as my ears weren't so critical...it often difficult to get any critical distance from music you've created yourself... |

I don't know. I think that the whole point in writing music is to come up with something you couldn't find elsewhere. Be it your own ideas, or your own expression of someone elses ideas. If you cannot listen to your own shit once its done I really don't see the point. BTW, only sissies are afraid to admit to playing with their equipment on one occasion or two. |

am in to do music mostly for just doing it not listen to it. and when i do a track i tend to listen to it, to make sure that it don't sound like crap. and inthe final mixing one have to listen to it over and over. ofcourse not all shit some i just do without listening to it at all, before it's finished. |
