Sampler and time shift plugins

I'm working with Pro Tools and want a time shift plugin,
preferably something I can use in real time- but the biggest
issue is I want it to be able to time shift gradually.

I also want to play a given wav sample in different pitches
with my midi controller, without increasing the speed and
frequency of the sound, as is the case with the NNXT in
Reason. Or maybe Reason can do what I want and I'm just not
aware of it?

Thanks

If you want to play at a different pitch then by definition
you must play at a different frequency.

I think you want a timestretch plugin btw, not time shift.

Yeah, timestretch is what I meant. Sorry for not being clear
about that. I actually think the Pro Tools 7.4 has what I'm
looking for, Elastic Time.

But what about a sampler that can load a wav file and
automatically stretch it to normal when played a different
pitches?

You can do that stuff in Ableton Live. Try out the demo or
something, it's fairly easy to learn.
