What motivates a whole sentient specie (aren't all reptilians "evil"?) to rule a whole world behind-the-curtains for thousands of years? It's great as a sci-fi read, no doubt, but if we play with the notion on a hypothetical level, what on earth would motivate ANYONE to put up with such an act for t-h-o-u-s-a-n-d-s of years? Might it not get a wee bit dull, after the first two- three-hundred years, or so? |
