I found a link to Derren Brown's "Russian Roulette"
special.

LAZY_TITLE

I have mixed feelings about this fellow; his only other show
I've seen was Horse Magic. A decent way to waste 50
minutes, I suppose. What did you think about the ending? A
mistake or worse?

he's a smarmy little barstad but he's clever and great
entertainment.

Yeah, much of it is too good to be done on the spot. When
he drew that picture, putting people in alpha-order, and
about a dozen other things for example. I just liked the
Chocolate Factory approach to it all.

Now Pete, he didn't fake it, if he'd have pulled the trigger
and the shot went off, he would very possibly have died.

"Several days later, the Jersey police said they had been
consulted about the programme in advance, and revealed:
"There was no live ammunition involved and at no time was
anyone at risk." On the other hand, as demonstrated earlier
in the programme, firing a blank cartridge at point-blank
range can still be extremely dangerous, even fatal."

it was a great show
i want to believe he can 'read' people, it was explained
pretty well in the program i think, it's like he can read 80
percent of the people right away, and then he selects a
total open book on top of that. the selection procedure was
the fun
