...that when your body wants you to throw up, your mouth
will begin to salivate uncontrollably? I'm guessing it's an
effort to lubricate your esophagus in case you accidentally
swallowed something sharp/solid (?), but I find that having
to constantly swallow saliva actually makes it easier to
keep from vomiting. At the very least you won't need to ask
whether I spit or swallow.

nah not really, just choked on some beer (fucking got scared
shitless by my cat jumping on my back from behind), and
coughed so hard that I almost threw up :)

thats a rough spot to be in right before you lose it with
the watering of the mouth.

yeah Grolsch in the lungs feels very great.

I don't know if this is strange behavior for a cat, but she
follows me around the house, always trying to be in close
proximity. She was just laying on my bed (behind me) and
decided she wanted to be on the desk, but rather than
jumping down from the bed, coming over, and jumping onto the
desk, she opted for the "gung-ho" method and performed (what
I can only imagine was) a bicycle-kick through the air onto
my back. She's got claws, and she fucking used em. That's
what I get for letting her climb all over me as a kitten,
haha.

I'm actually really surprised I didn't lose my dinner, but I
must have looked about the same caughing up the beer. It
wasn't much really, just a swig, but it felt like a lot
going down the trachea. :(

Had to clean off my monitor though, and my keyboard.

You know, I should have just told the whole story from the
beginning. Working backwards is stupid.

She's definitely got a unique personality. She wants to be
near me, but usually won't let me pick her up. She
never lets other people pick her up, and only wants
to human contact on her terms. Still, she can be
affectionate.... Sometimes. Rarely.

so you grew up calling it pop, too? That's what my parents
called it, but I apparently needed to switch to "soda"
according to my friends.

Pop sounds better, but only old folks use that word here.
"Soft drinks" is what is written; I've never heard anyone
say these words out loud. I wish I had a cat, but only to
watch.
