The truth is important. It's the hardest thing to explain most times. even when it is so imporatant to pass the message on. this film is important but you'll never see it on tv or on dvd at your city shops. im glad i know the story it tells , but i dont wish to harm people ..this film hurts people to watch more than any other film known. But, if you see this at the right time the feeling afterward is so positive ( maybe you should watch it ? ) you might get lucky. :) mr chuck y can bookmark it in windows explorer ..it is very brutally honest so be prepared for that. your avatar prepares you very well. peace:) |

dunno - i was able to eat sausages while watching the movie so i guess it didn't work. okay - i would be quite a son of a bitch if i would just say that i was totally neutral to the movie - but what's the point of making a movie like this? i had quite a though weekend because at friday i got "zeitgeist" in mu hands and yesterday i watched this "earthlings" so i hade a weekend full of influental movies. seriously - i hate movies like this. okay i respect the one who made it and so on but it's just sad that the persons really think that there movies would have any influence on people. no. you know why ? in the moment no one bumps this topic and you forget about the movie you will again eat meat as if nothing has happened and you will love it and forget that you eat freshly killed animals. oh my. and then suddenly you again hear about the movie and think again - wtf i don't want to eat meat but then you forget again and you start again to feed yourself with meat. saddening. the same with "zeitgeist" i mean what's the point? should i go on the street with a transparent or maybe don't watch television anymore? a bit more about zeitgeist - in my opinion it's worse than the things it is about. it is about influence of politics and how easily accesible we are. but this movie just does it the same way. through fast cut scenes, a bunch of thrown together coincidental material it gets to everyone very fast because it requires a small amount of thinking. and again - how many people remeber this film 2 days after seeing it ? |

the thing is that most of these kind of movies are made in the same manner: they tell you that your thoughts and decisions are influenced by some "higher" forces and they try to make you dumb and neutral. those movies state that the most important part is to have your own thoughts and don't get easily influenced. but i mean - guess what - both those movies actually do the same thing - they force you (don't tell me it isn't brute force) to think that what you have seen is the only truth. of course the director sure is a veggie. he doesn't want you to think about this movie too much - he wants to make you a veggie and period. simple as that. |

seriously i wouldn't be that frustrated if those movies would take 15 minutes. but i lost 2 times 2 hours of my life and will neither storm washington dc nor be a veggie. the same with 99 % people that watch this. at least i was soldering watching zeitgeist and ironing my shirts when seeing "earthlings' cause i would be really bad now |

one day meat will be produced in the laboratory and we can all rest easy knowing a brain is not attached and suffering for what is not actually necessary for a human to be healthy. its just a texture that is all , you add salt fry and garnish for taste. etc etc .. i dont know the other film you speak of im not trying to convert anyone, perhaps the film is..but hay every single advert you watch is trying to make you think in a certain way for company profit.This film is not for economic profit this is a kindenss to try and bring about some energy perhaps to encourage better standards in farming ?? anything at all would be nice. The movie might not be nice to watch ..hey i used to eat meat one time i know both sides of the story. but its been 15 years since i paid money to multi nationals for this kind of service...although it took a while to ween me off a cows teat. you can actually train your mind to give up any unhealthy addiction or convenience it just takes practice like learning a new song to sing, its easy. Its healthy ,better for the environment and kinder to all the animlas . its simply just not that convenient and people don't understand due to tradition and the fact that multi nationals have paid billions to install systems for meat production there is nooo way they will allow the truth to be told they are in control of the mainstream media. once it was a normal thing to kill an animal and eat it, but today its gone way to far with the population boom this film is simply trying to help this situation . but hey not all farms are this way but a majority are, china is even worse smaller confinement and hacking animals whilst still alive. i simply chose not to fund this shit. |
