I just cracked the whole problem about musicians losing out
to Record Companies and p2p... musicians create a unique
track for the person willing to pay for it. How much are
punters willing to pay for a unique track? One from Aphex,
fifty quid? But then you'd be taking a risk, would he
churlishly send you a Smojphace outtake, in a display of his
infamous contrariness? Artists you could trust could maybe
charge more, maybe Carl Craig. Though he might send one of
those jazz things he does now and again.
