Also, all these countries she uses as her template were populated by people unexposed to the flood of ready information from thousands of sources uncontrolled by government like we have today. 80 years ago it was very easy to control people because there were few avenues to communicate to the masses. You just had to shut off certain pipelines of power and you were thus in control. The network of control in modern society is much more a complicated web. America is often compared to Rome, but the world today is vastly different than it was 2 thousand years ago. Its not as simplistic of a model of power any more. |
