are you in favor of the war on drugs?

I'll explain in a second.

those are two opposing questions..
War on Drugs is hypocracy especially since CIA took control
of the drug trade in the South Americas in the 80's and
early 90's and used the slush funds to buy arms for anti
communist rebels..all over the world..

yep, then you also gotta consider what legalization would
mean? wouldn't you still have to be a certain age? how old
would you have to be to smoke crack?

yeah I know that's true, I wonder why we (Americans) are so
scared of communists...they must be actually on to
something.

This topic has been brought up before so I don't want to get
into a lengthy discussion, (if you do, use the search tool),
I just need to know nacmat's opinion.

if it was up to me i'd say legalize it all- i don't have
stupid kids i'd worry about snorting up heroin or whatever-

and for the sake of all the parents out there, i'd say it's
a good thing that it's not up to me

to those that do. It's true!

the only certain thing about war is that somebody wins,
somebody loses and things are never the same again.

Actually I think nobody wins, nobody loses, and in the end,
things are the same. Point in case: the drug war.

leCoeur what's your opinion?

Legalize or not?

no to legalization....not because i don't think that it
might HELP the situation, but because who would come up with
the rules of legalization =)

i oppose drug/drug use as a whole, but i recognize that a
lot of people do them, so i'm trying to be pragmatic about
the whole situation. it's a very interesting question you
pose tho =0)

i've never consumed drugs, alcohol, tobacco, etc, b4, a
drug was is questionable to me, but how can one person
consuming drugs harm others? how would that constitute
grounds for war?
