The lunar eclipse looks awesome, dark and red like. Next one
in 2010 I think. I was driving while listening to some
Analord and checking it out. Also got some pics, will try to
upload later.

I saw it, but it was only vaguely orange, not deep red as
some people have reported seeing. Pretty cool, though.

surprised how many people

1) don't understand why it would reflect back red/orange
light in the visible spectrum,

and

2) why they don't even ask the question on why it is
reflecting back red/orange light.

Sad stage of affairs regarding science these days,
most people dont bother or wont ask questions, or if they
hear an explanation they take it as-is ... without doing
their own homework. incred-bile.

sad stage of affairs regarding how the world is these days,
full of those who do not question or care to know why. that
is just perfect for those people who love to use and abuse
others

i was also driving and listening to Analord (10 i believe)
when i noticed a bite out of the orangish moon. i rung up
all my bros and we gathered at the beach to drink a few
beers in the cold wind and occasionally comment on some
thing or another that we found interesting about the moon in
its current state. the sky was cloudless, but kind of hazy
so the moon had a bit of a blurred look to it.

i had no idea there was to be an eclipse. usually NPR radio
is all over that shit, but they've been slacking lately, or
something.
