For all you americanos...
Currently airing Sunday nights on AMC. Dark comedy/drama by the former head writer for the X Files, Vince Gilligan.
Main character is Bryan Cranston, the dad on Malcolm in the Middle, dentist on Seinfeld, schtikle of fluoride, etc etc.
Season is about half over and it's pretty solid. I've read that it's just a miniseries so it'll only last a season but who knows.
Premise is: High school Chem teacher finds out he has terminal lung cancer, starts a meth lab with former student who is already involved in the meth scene. Then some things happen... This all happens in the first show about half way in.
So I'm recommending this if you get a chance to see it. The episodes on AMC are 45 minutes not counting commercials and from what I read the actually episodes are closer to an hour and there is some censoring/editing on the TV airing. Apparently it was setup or assumed to be on HBO or HBO equiv. So it'll be neat if a DVD comes out with the full versions of things.

Just watched the 3rd episode last night. When I first heard of the series, I thought "oh no, not another "edgy" drug-drama," but it's actually quite good. I'd accuse Bryan Cranston of stealing the show if it wasn't already his show. :p
