this is properly good! tuneful and wonderful 1.50 is teh sex. sounds like you put loads of effort into it, and now that makes me feel i should of put more effort into mine but then again if i had then maybe you wouldn't have and i wouldn't be saying this right now. on to the future. we could make like a 3gb album at this rate expect a new addition in a few portions of time |

Thanks, the 'technique' allowed me to create rather quickly. Like usual I often play a percussion beat wav in 3 octaves at once, which is a simple way to have their combined pattern be more complex and spend a longer time producing new variations given that they are out of phase and take awhile before they all sync back up again. But the main thing I did this time that I'm still experimenting with I guess is: * make some sort of notes/melody pattern using the keys c, e and g ONLY (a common arbitrary chord). Save this as a 'wavCEG'. * save this same pattern again but as 'wavDFA', 'wavBEG', etc, (save this same pattern multiple times in different chords) (I make it very easy to change the notes by keeping all the initial, say, C's in a single column so can just highlight them all and lower/raise to whatever with a few clicks). * Now play all of these large wav files simultaneously only providing volume to one at a time in order to play the one pattern but switch between the chords (I played each of these waves in 3 simultaneous octaves too adding to the complexity). |

That's great/interesting and better quality than I can make when I'm not cheating complexity by using large out of phase wav files. I easily extracted individual percussion hits from this for yet another remix (unlike mine which had notes everywhere so was hard to use/extract any individual part). jkd: hi emo hairspray advertisement! For this I just switched between large wav files in modplug tracker (no melodyne, which is mostly good for quantizing sound into evenly spaced units). I'm 1/4 of the way through my first actionscript3 retard matching card game tutorial. It took me long enough.. Ok, here's my rerereeRerERerEErrmix. Similar, more minimal and maybe better than my last (the end sucks how the notes just cut off all well, but the beat sounds wicked). I cheated again by using a (similar) melody I had already made in the mean time, but made all the percussion with your sounds just now. |

hmmm yes, i likes! reminds me of an audiobulb release. and i definitely like audiobulb. i even have a few of their cds. oh yes. this is nice though. i'm really liking how the tracks are developing. each one has a very different feel, and well, it's just cool. in a way, i never want to stop. |
