I live in a town that has a fire department. When there is
an emergency, which is almost everyday, they blow a fucking
horn off that you can hear for miles around. This is so
people in the department know to get in their cars and get
to the station. There are houses all around the department
and they blow this fucking horn any hour. 3 in the morning
or day it doesn't matter. I know a guy that lives next to
the station and his whole house shakes from the horn and he
can count on it going off every night usually in the 3 to 4
am range. In this age of cellphones and beepers they still
have to blow that horn in the middle of the night? I don't
get it!

cell phones and beepers don't always work.

the chances of miraculously not being able to hear are
slightly lower.

personally, ill take a little personal discomforture for the
security of knowing there's a fire dept ready to bust my ass
out of a burning building any day. granted, im not willing
to let it go much further than that, but its one of the
securities that im sure you wouldn't be better off without.

i've got a fire station on the next street over from me...
no horn tho... then again this past december a church that
was literally 300 feet from the fire department burned down
to the ground... maybe we should have a horn?

not good. y need sleep. make a petition and get everyone to
sign it ask for something to be done.

i had a crow SQualk every morning very loud outside my
window from 4am to 6am ..made a herbivore wanna kill.

herbivores are allowed to kill animals and still remain
herbivores. You'd have to eat the crow to relinquish your
herbivorous status.
