no...it disappeared. even when i went to customise the
toolbar the home button wasn't even an option to drag on to
the toolbar. the bookmarks button stopped working too, it no
longer toggles the bookmarks sidebar on or off. there's some
other bugs too, so i decided to go back to the latest
released version instead but even then my home button was
still missing and some other things from the beta version
still appeared to be hanging around. i had to completely
uninstall FF, save my bookmarks elsewhere and delete all
settings associated with FF and do a clean install. this
made my home button come home....HURRAH!

i'm looking forward to the release of FF3 though, it looks
more like safari now.

is it weren't for the fact you can't have a bookmarks
sidebar in safari i'd be using safari instead.

It doesn't, no skins either, actually there's a few plugins
it recognized but almost all it didn't. When they released
the final 3 it will be my main second browser, very good
version so far. It's almost as fast as K-Meleon now so it's
pretty good.

good info to know indeed as i was looking into trying it out
but since its apparently not friendly with plug ins and i
hear you can't have concurrent versions of ff running ill
stick with my current stable version till the final comes
out.
