Lately I've been experimenting with making tracks that have no melody to speak of, and are more experimental. This one I like:
LAZY_MP3
Just looking for some feedback.

id say youre allowed to have some kind of melody, a whole track of that, while interesting, would be difficult.
the beauty of ae is that their, imo, is that they don't have as separated rhythmic (read: nonmelodic) and melodic parts - the drums morph to have notes, a synth becomes the rhythm of the song.
its all about subtly in the "experimental" end.

Its percussion dominant but some instruments you used have more than one pitch and hence melody. Like that longer bellish sound is something like a brief note c then long e. And the bass drum has more than 1 pitch.

I can hear an unaltered grinder synth from ableton in there :*(
it's alright though. get some big sounds in there and a melody and make it longer and maybe you'll have something.
