not me - but I was waiting for you to log in so I could
thank for turning me on to the immense J D Emmanuel. I got
some more stuff from his site, and it's fantastic.

Scroll down to "Unpublished Music From the Archives". I got
2½ hours of great stuff from the "Electronic Minimal Music
1980-1983" link.

Arvo Pärt - Alina

Probably the most beautiful and minimalistic piano pieces
you'll ever hear.

Morton Feldman - Triadic Memories
(not so wal-martifed as Arvo Pärt's ECM-release "Alina" for
some reason... :D Feldman's stuff contains lot of atonal
fibres = never wears out or gets boring )

John Cage's Sonatas and Interludes is pretty fresh. I don't
remember if this is on it, but it's pretty good:

I've often said the best sounds in a piano come from the
foot pedals.

If you push down the pedals and let them spring up, not only
do you get the enjoyable creak on the way down, but you get
some nice reverberation from inside the piano as the strings
are vibrated. . . it's very pleasing :]

we hired a piano guy once for a party ...he turns up late
with just some tuning forks ...pretty minimal id say .....so
we mic'd him up and added some freaky delay ....he hated it
cause he was old and Only into classical and we hated him.
....no we didnt really ..we loved him and it was a fun
dream,
