broke up with my gf

i didnt really want to be with her anymore, but it still
hurts a bit. cause i got to know myself better in a
relationship situation, and it turns out once i get used to
someone, i can be quite inconsistent with them, like nice,
then rude, happy, sad, mean, hostile, silly, funny, etc. and
it was too much of a roller coaster for her, and i warned
her about it in the beginning, not to get attatched.

but i still fed the fire and kept it going, even at times
when i was using her, not in a bad way, sometimes just as a
friend to lean on. but as time past the relationship itself
became very one sided. i expected things and gave nothing in
return. it wasn't like that for the first 5 months.

bah. i need to have a long hard think about it all. maybe
I'm just not cut out for dating. its too much work. once i
gain a girls trust and love (whether it be online or in real
life) i get bored and detatch myself, as if it was an
elaborate video game. i fucking treat it like a game. it's a
learning experience for me, but I don't like what I'm
learning about myself. :/

sorry if it was serious. not everything it's build to last
and givin yourself time alone its a good idea, time makes
things clearer somehow. the right one will still be too much
job although you may want learn to stay with yourself first.
if you're looking for more than a fuck, of course. 2¢ of
random thoughts.

sorry to hear

i also agree that is seems like too much work at times.

perhaps there could be an arrangement like the episode of
seinfeld where george assisted jerry with his girlfriend
(this was supposed to be the summer of george!)

yeah, you'll make it through this shit

i find that i don't really like most girls, i just want to
know that i can win them over, sometimes you are repulsed by
what you find. listening to voicemails my ex left me a while
ago today on my cell, and her fake ass "love voice..,," i
wanted to gouge my eyes out

i remember thinking (while in my previous relationship) that
life was better before this. i had time to myself and no one
to answer to. i could smoke bongs all day and scratch my
ass. but in actual fact smoking bongs all day and scratching
your ass is not all its cut out to be. life without a woman
is not all that great.

*notes to self: find a woman*

as if you were going to stay with her forever anyway!
get married, have kids and manage to survive that!
get real!
make the pain (and past pleasure) part of your better self
and get over it, jeez
plenty more fish in the sea
the pain is just selfishness

The thing that sucks about this is the sadness. It's too bad
we can't just switch it off and move along not thinking
about it. The only advice I can share with you on this is
eat healthy and get good sleeps. It sounds stupid but it
really takes a lot of work out of the whole getting over
yourself shit. I don't know what you're feeling right now, I
think it is beyond 'not having a gf' and just thinking about
how bad of a person you think you are. I say chill and try
to realize it's not your personality, but just the fact you
need to find someone who can , I don't know what the right
word would be ... challenge maybe ? Like, not take your shit
and shake you up a bit, but in a GF way and not a "I'm
leaving you" way.

Breaking up sucks, but thankfully videogames and pizza
delivery places exsist.

aww diddums, you just didn't love her that's all. You
probably used her because you liked the attention - made you
feel good. Eventually you realised that irrespective of that
she was getting on your nerves too much.

Now you miss the fact that at least 'something' was going on
in your life, but don't worry, you'll soon fall back into
your old habits.

Being in a good relationship doesn't mean everything has to
be dandy and swell all the time. Being able to realise
problems and talk about them are signs of a good
relationship. Telling your partner that you just aren't
excited about them as you used to be is another good thing.
It's average to have happen. Just don't go and give it all
up for it.

Sometimes it takes going through the bad to get to the good.

Like, the best relatinship is where yeah, you can see each
other as being a friend. A really good friend. That's what I
have right now and it's very nice. We care about each other
as well as ourselves and we don't big it up that we are in a
relationship. We don't worry about sex, because that's not
really important right now. We act like good friends who
help each other out with anything and everything. I mean,
maybe it's just a personal opinion, but that's the idea
isn't it? That's what a relationship really is?

years ago i started taking my gf for granted. the magic was
gone. i thought, "what are we doing here?" My solution: I
asked her to marry me.

Then after about 2 years of happy marriage, I found myself
in the same situation. i thought, "what are we doing here?"
My solution: Have a child!. It's been great.

we are now on our second child.

its great.

Being single... man, you have some good times ahead. Think
of the beer, think of the girls. And no more nagging. Ah,
the sweet single life....
