thanks marlowe. i look forward to your thoughts on it. how
are alice and miles doing?

big: the writing in this is not experimental, thankfully. i
had a 12-year-old girl and a 50-year-old mother read it and
they both loved it. or if that scares you off even more, a
few 20-somethings read and enjoyed it as well.

Well, I have an electric typewriter now (I used to have one
when I was younger, back when I had a Spectrum 128k), but
I've just moved so I'm still settling in. . . also, I have
writer's block :\

Does the block truely belong to the writer?

I've always been able to write, ever since I was a child. I
even learned joined up writing when I was 25

blame the season. i find i'm always too tired to get
anything done during winter.

my only suggestion for writer's block is to just write
anyway -- something, anything -- since it'll give you the
taste for it again. i also enjoy reading interviews with my
favourite authors to get me in the mood.

Lee, this damn block is well & truly mine :\

Prime: I am very much affected by the seasons and my
energies are usually rock bottom during the dark months
*grr*

I often find the best way to forget about writer's block is
suicide. It certainly helped me.

dandruff isn't a blockbuster then i don't know what is.

thanks for ordering the book, guys. :D

awesome! thanks, big. if you already like the book then you
shouldn't be disappointed with the rest of it.

i went on a trip to niagara falls over the weekend and was
recognised for the first time ever, which was bizarre and
very surprising. i gave the greyhound guy my name so he
could put it on my ticket, and then he started hesitating
and thinking about something. after a few seconds of
wondering what was going on he suddenly blurted out in a
whisper: 'excuse me, sir, but are you a published author?' i
said 'oh, uh, yeah.' 'the dandruff book, right?' we talked
about it for a little bit, and then he whispered 'so you're
going to pay a smaller amount'. i spent the rest of the
weekend with an unending grin on my face. it was definitely
one of the coolest things to ever happen to me.
